My son is cleaning out his closet this evening and yells to his sister, "I need fashion advice! Is this shirt too much?" This piques my curiosity because they're in the kitchen and I can't see what he's got on. My daughter says, "Omigosh, that is Dad's shirt!"

"No," he says, "I bought it at Goodwill because I thought it was hilarious."

This is too much, so I go into the kitchen, and sure enough, he's wearing a shirt that I had, dark blue, covered with playing cards and throwing darts. In my defense, it was a joke gift from my friend who was big into cards, but yeah, I wore it. So I told him that it was indeed my shirt.

"No," he says, "I remember buying it at the thrift store." So I go take a closer look and tell him it's the same shirt I had.

"It's a Medium, dad. You couldn't have worn this in Middle School!"

Ouch.

My diet starts tomorrow.
