A guy I played football and wrestled with in Highschool got to wrestle savage one time.
Believe it or not he and I went to Pro Wrestling school when we were just out of high school. We both trained at Lillian Ellisons facility in Columbia South Carolina. Lillian was known as the great Moolah. Sweet women! I had a bad motorcycle accident and he finished the school before going to play football at South Carolina.
Anyhow he got to wrestle Savage that summer on the WWF. Needless to say he was just a plug Wrestler and took his beating. Here is a video of that match. I thought my buddy did pretty well in his televised match.

Brings back memories. An old buddy of mine was a regular on the card in Pigeon Forge and Johnson City years ago. Good times.

several ex wrestlers live around my area tracy smothers,barry hortweiz both will tell u the most painful thing they went thro was a macho elbow from up top
