Weather or not judgment day comes tomorrow, first thing in the morning my son will graduate high school at 9 am. He has struggled these last few months and I struggled right along with him. I will have to say I am proud of this moment and I am proud of him. I honestly thought this day wouldn’t come cause of some bad choices and I pray he has learned from them choices.
Just thinking back from the time he was born wondering what he be when he grows up. Still not sure what he is going to do I guess that is a decision he will make on his own. I do know he will have my support and love.
I guess I can say I have been lucky as in I didn’t have to worry about a teenage pregnancy or getting in trouble with the law or any big time nightmares. However I had to endure him being very hardheaded (not sure where that came from). All in all I can say I am so grateful that God Blessed me with this child. He has walked beside me when times were dark and he has walked on my heart but I can think of more times I walked on my parents heart . Its truly an honor being a mother.
We’ve hunted together fished together played baseball and football with each other. Lol I done things with him that a father normally does with a son and I enjoyed every moment of it. Oh how I wish I could turn back time and go back to some of those days sitting in the woods him in his little play pen all camo up and him just steadily hitting that box call. Or sitting on the river back at LBL and him throwing and reeling in non stop. Man how I am missing those moments right now.
Guys, Girls if you got a young one at home and you think they to young to hit the woods or river just take them and watch them. It will be some of the best times you will ever have in life.
I got him a graduation card and in his card I wrote some words to a song he used to make me sing to him. It meant a great deal to him and to me. Heads Carolina Tails California Somewhere greener somewhere warmer Up in the mountains down by the ocean Where it don’t matter as long as we’re goin Somewhere together. I’ve got a quarter.
Congratulations Hunter 2011

Congrats to Hunter. Enjoyed seeing pics over the years of him growing into a fine young man.
