:( I saw him wrestle in Greenfield TN many many years ago. Hate to hear that he died. He scared the crap out of me when he chased a guy out of the gym and ran right by me. That was before I knew it was just "entertainment".
I saw him wrestle at the Fairgrounds Arena in Nashville when I was about 14. Only time I ever went but still remember it. Got Tojo Yamamoto's wooden shoe and he let me keep it and autographed it for me.
I brought it home and my dad threw a fit.
RIP Macho Man

The first time that I saw him in person was in Gallatin, Tn., at the old National Guard Armory building on 109 South.
RIP.

When I was a kid, my brother and I would go visit my dad on the weekends at his parents house after my parents divorced. Mam-maw & Pap-paw were big into wrestling. We would all set in the living room eating popcorn that was drenched in salt and melted butter.
They were REALLY into it too!! Tojo, Hulk, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man, Rick Flair & the other original 4-Horsemen, Arn & Ole Anderson, along with Tully Blanchard..... Then there were the Steiner Brothers, Rick & Scott.... Razor Ramon.... Andre The Giant, Bill Dundee, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Sting, Bam Bam Bigelow, Hillbilly Jim, The Iron Sheik, Sgt. Slaughter, Sid Vicious, Junkyard Dog.....
Ahhh, the things you remember from childhood.....
RIP Macho Man Randy Savage
