My Chevy truck was built by Union members in Louisiana. At least that's what the sticker inside the door said.

mine was built in the usa but that was back in 1969 when most things was and they knew how to make a truck instead of the plastic things with computers and a million sensors. could change the motor in mine in 30mins-an hour and it would take half a day to find a the motor in new ones.you might can tell i hate newer vehicles as long as i can help it i am gonna drive a older vehicle.

Both Chevy Silverados we've owned were made in Oshawa, Ontario.
If the first digit of your VIN is a 2, it's Canadian.

That's any vehicle. To my knowledge there is no 100% American made vehicle. All parts and pieces come from different places. My 99 Z71 was assembled in Canada.

Never liked GM. I will say that Ford does a bunch of crap down in Mexico. GM has and will continue to get alot from Canada also. WE NEED JOBS HERE! Support Toyota, many are made right here.

I dont like Government Motors vehicles!! Wouldnt own one. Was changing oil on my Ford a few years back. Looked up and stamped on the inside front bumper. "Made in Canada" No tellin where all the auto makers parts come from.

Guys all major auto manufactures have plants globally. They all have divisions in every region of the world. The four manufacturing countries that YOU will buy vehicles from are the US, Canada, Mexico, and Japan.
Almost all you small vehicles are built in Mexico. How do you think they can afford to offer those vehicles at prices between 12-15K, not paying American wages that is for sure. the vehicles built, here, Japan, and Canada are your higher end vehicles.
Mexico and Canada have a cheaper work force plain and simple and in America its all about the money.....

I have a 2001 Sliverado that I ordered from GM in 2000 and my nextdoor neighbor has a 2004, both was made in Canada. Now we have oakclimer saying he had a 99 model that was made in Canada so where am I wrong???
I also said to open the drivers side door and you will see a sticker saying where the auto was made.
What is "not true" about anything I've posted??? That's what I want to know.
