Very excited about my new job. I will manage a large plumbing company in Houston. I will be out there the 31st and hit the ground running. Now I just need a place to hunt in the fall. God is good.

Congrats! We have a sattelite office in Houston and do quite a bit of utility work there. Wish I could direct you to hunting land but public is non existent from what I hear. Sam Rayburn Lake though......there be some big 'ol bass.

Hmm. Burrito schooners. Be careful.
Houston is where Satan goes to warm up. That place is hot AND humid. Never seen a place that was 100 degrees with 100% humidity with no clouds until Houston.
If you like to fish, there is a place south of Houston that is easily the best fishing tackle store I've ever been in. It's called Fishing Tackle Unlimited. Also, check out the fish markets in Kema. Snapper fillets, fresh, for $3.29 lb. and shrimp dirt cheap. I turned a Carolina native from a Low Country Boil fan to a Cajun Boil nut.
