Uncle under Hospice care

My uncle has been diagnosed with the same cancer as my dad was 2 yrs ago. He has went fast, just like with my dad. After 6 weeks, he was taken to the hospital on a Friday (just like my dad). He has been sent home, with Hospice, to finish his time here on earth.
Time is nearing and all he talks about now is "Bobby" - my daddy. He tells everyone that Bobby is waiting on him with a brand new bike, that you dont have to peddle. He talked to him all night last night about things in heaven and what he would be seeing...WOW is all I can say.
Please be in prayer for the Swiney family. After he passes, there is only one child out of ten left, and she is one of the oldest one.
Breathing very hard and very shallow this morning, prayers for a peaceful passing and that the wait wont be too long on the family.

Dern Marsha it is really something that your Dad's and your Uncle's illnesses are such mirror images. Heredity I guess.

My grandmother (very close) passed very slowly last yr. She was sick in bed for a few months. At the time it was difficult and I sometimes wished God would just end her suffering. NOW I'm thankful I had the chance to tell her a few things. I'm not glad at all for her suffering but I'm counting it a blessing to be able to talk to her. God bless that family.
