We kept one in the house for about a yr. We had an old German Shorthair that would lay-up on the couch, and the coon would get up there and open the dogs mouth and lick all over $\:D$ ...dog didn't mind at all $\:D$

Dang thing got out of its cage while we were gone one time, and completely destroyed the kitchen.....whata mess!!!!

Then it went into my mancave and nocked down a buncha fishn poles I had in a rack, and proceeded to get a dang hook caught in its nose, as well as tangled in the carpet

.....he was none too happy bout that either $\:D$ ...but that's where we found him.

He showed his displeasure BIG TIME, when I pulled that hook from his nose, don't ya know!!! $\:o$

He was a hoot, but just got to be too much to handle, so we gave him to a friend that kinda took in stray stuff like that.

My uncle had one for years that he kept in a cage in his back yard. The coon knew how to open his own cage & they would go out & find the door open & the coon gone. About a week later, the coon would show back up all skinny & hungry. He'd stay about a month, put a little weight back on, & then he'd be gone again.

A buddy of mine had a coon for a pet. The coon grew up. You should see his scars.
