I agree with the motel thing, at least to begin with. If all goes well you can always make other arrangements.

I'm sure it's an uncomfortable situation, but who knows, things have a happy ending sometimes. I'd say it's worth giving a shot,
since there might be more to be gained than there is to be lost.
