Shane I work at Nissan Corporate in Franklin. If you are only 30 minutes away from Bridgestone and an hour and half from the Nissan Plant, then you have to do what is best for your family and if saving money on gas and making more money is what is best for you and your family you have to do it.

Now if you're on the corp lease program then you have to factor in the cost of a vehicle into your calculation. Other than that it seems like a no brainer.

I'm gonna throw you a curve. Now that you know they are both gonna be night jobs. I'd take the Bridgestone job provided you pass the physical. Then I'd vigorous pursue search to find a new job to get back on days.

You got some health issues as I understand from your post on here and mostly used to diurnal type construction work. Your body might hard wired to work days.

And with a new baby, man that will rough on you. Especially if that baby gets cranky with colic or the umpteen ear infections that babies have. I hope the best for ya bud, I really do. But I think nights will be harsh on you. Frankly I don't know how your wife is gonna keep nights after her maternaty is over. Y'all both need day jobs with a new baby.

Be cool if someone could wave a magic wand so she could stay home for the first year.

I wish you wisdom Shane in your dicision.
