I have internet and cable thru comcast. I wish I could drop the cable and just get netflix.

I just switched back to comcast from direct. I was paying $85 for the choice plus package with 2 dvr's. When I called to cancel they offered to cut my monthly payment down to $40/month! I politely told the lady that my mind was made up and to turn it off. If they can offer it to you when you threaten to cancel why can't they offer it to you at that price anyway. Burns me up. I also turned off my att internet that was almost $40/month.
BTW, I've got comcast cable and internet now. $70/month for 6 months and $85/month after that. I'm getting 12mgbt internet in comparison to 6 and almost as many channels, but no dvr. I'm now about $50 better off a month for 6 months and $0 thereafter...

Don't know if I could cut the tv off. Thing of it is I keep the direcTV just so can watch 2,4 and 5.
With the old rooftop antenna they suck, too weak up in Montgomery. Heck maybe all that has changed since the new govt mandate.

satellite never was any good where we're located and about the only time we turn the tv on now is to get the weather
