Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has diverticulitis again and has withdrawn from next month’s title fight.
Lesnar had diverticulitis two years ago. He says the digestive disorder is not as serious this time, and he’s not retiring. He calls this episode a “bump in the road.”
He says he has been feeling symptoms the last three months and felt weak in training. He is deciding whether to have surgery or face the prospect of dealing with the condition for the rest of his life.
Shane Carwin will replace Lesnar against Junior Dos Santos in UFC 131 on June 11 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

well that sucks, I was looking forward to that fight but he definitely needs to take care of himself, but the fight was not a title fight, just a number 1 contender fight

Hated to hear it myself...was looking forward to the fight but diverticulitis isn't anything to play with. It never does go away, you just mainly control it.
It will be good to see Shane Carwin back in action. I like this fight with Junior...

I can't wait to see Carwin fight! I thought Brock had been acting kind of odd on TUF show. I know it was recorded back a few months ago but he was not doing much more than just standing back and letting the other coaches teach. Maybe that is his style or maybe it was because he was not feeling 100%.

Wasn't a title fight, I don't believe. Shane vs. JDS will be epic, it will pretty much be who can connect first.

Clearly, he hasn't done anything since he lost to LESNAR. I like Carwin but good god. He had back surgery back a few months ago. I know this, I'm an avid poster on that site. Visit it everyday, still doesn't make a change of mind, he hasn't done anything. Surgery equals number 1 title contender. your crazy.
