That wouldn't happen to be the Tonch Heartsill property would it? I heard that place may be for sale. If it is the area around Mt. Pleasant, it can be great. I have hunted there many years. It will all just depend on the specific piece of property. Some have deer, some don't. As a rule, it will take three points to draw a bow tag there. I was always able to get a late mzl tag and most years could draw a bow tag. But that was before it got so "hot".
BTW- Was asking for the benefit of others. I'll never hunt IA again, hunted there for close to 20 years. As some stated, parts of IA are no better than the parking lot at Kroger. I would assume many on here are not at all familiar with IA and might like to get an idea of where the property is. I am quite familiar with zone 6.

If your intentions were to help kldeerkiller, then why didnt you just come out and say where zone 6 is,instead of asking him twice where it was?Looks like you were trying to make him look bad.Son,if you aint interested in hunting Iowa just stay out of this gentlemans thread.
