Well, I guess as bad as it is you got your money's worth. Hope you find a good replacement.
Don't say that! We're running a 79 Norris Craft with a 79 Johnson 75hp. I'm hoping that lasts a lifetime!

I bought it about 2 months ago...supposedly a rebuilt powerhead...so no, no moneys worth yet...

I DO hate to hear that! Stuff like that is why it's hard to buy a used boat that has been worked on. I only trust a few mechanics in our area to do anything other than change erl. Hopefully somehting will come up for you and you can get back on the water.

rebuild it. the blocks for those are cheap as long as they have good sleeves. couple guys around east tn that could do it cheap.
you could do it yourself . not very hard at all.
if you want to buy a replacement look at chattanoogafishingforum.com or fastbass.com should be a few for sale.also craigslist
