Dear MUP,
Thank you for writing to me and sharing your concerns about legislation re-authorizing the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission. Listening to and learning from Tennesseans is very important to me, and I appreciate you taking the time to contact me about this.
The TWRC provides a needed and valuable service to our state. The process by which state agencies are established, audited, and reviewed is thorough, and I believe it is important to let that process run its course. This helps insure that we are offering efficient effective service to Tennesseans.
This situation is not uncommon. Even if no action is taken by the legislature this session regarding the TWRC, the agency will not cease to exist. There will be a one year period for further reviews to be made and corrective actions to be taken. The sunset will then be addressed in next year's legislative session.
Again, thank you for writing. I look forward to working with you and all Tennesseans to make our great state an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.

Hey, at least you got a response I have contacted rep. Hurley twice and she will not respond.
