Agree! shoot hogs year round without restrictions!!
I agree...
If I am on Yanahli which has only rumors of the occasional hog sighting, and I actually see one and come into range, wouldn't it make more sense to kill it then and there instead of reporting it and hoping the "state personnel" are lucky enough to find and exterminate it? Would be less waste of money to allow all hunters to take all the hogs they can/want instead of setting up traps, etc that would probably come from our license or tax money (correct me if I'm wrong).
Or you could do both.... have the state people set up their methods to kill hogs, and allow hunters to kill more at the same time, double kill.
Just my thoughts. Same with the other Nonprotected species.

It still has to be finalized on May 19 & 20... So it might be a good idea to call our commisioners and let them know how we feel about it and show up at the meeting to voice our opinions cant hurt,it might change thier minds...

All of the other changes will be voted on and finalized May 19th & 20th. The changes on the hogs are already a done deal. There will be modifications and changes as time goes on,but other than that it has already been voted in from my understanding.

Yea thats my point exactly if they can take one privlige away they are sure to take more. Deer are responsible for thousands of vehicle accidents resulting in millions of dollars paid out by insurance companies each year and they even cause human casualties. Seems to me the insurance companies have the have the same right to want deer eradicated from Tn. to save them money and the lives of people harmed in these accidents. If we don't stick together now we may be all sitting at home watching tv in the fall instead of enjoying the outdoors.
