Radio Shack and Best Buy stores will take a lot of that stuff. The Shack might even give you a few bucks depending on what it is.

Call the solid waste people in your county and ask if they have an e-cycle drop off. Most counties do.

I've been hearing ads for a on-line service that pays you for old stuff like that, but can't recall the name.

Anyone else hear of it?

I do wonder about giving up any computers without the hard drive being removed.

You definitely want to remove the hard drive from ANYTHING being recycled - that includes the larger printers with internal drives, and copy machines.

The only online services I've ever spoken with about purchasing old IT equipment required packaging and shipping by the sender. Instantly makes it not worth the hassle for me.
