I remember seeing where only about 50 schools actually applied for this 'award'. LOL, even kids can't stand him.
But GEEEEE, wonder what made those kids in Memphis want him there???? " Booker T. Washington High School is 100 percent African American and 95 percent poor." Can you say Dem Votes!  free "ice cream"

BTW, I saw this slogan on the Memphis City Schools website: Breakthrough leadership, breakthrough results. 
I think they meant 'breaking and entering'.

I don't think they ment to say the school won the contest. I hope they ment to say they lost the contest. That is the way I would feel if I had a child going to that school.

I've got a good reason not to go to work on that Friday. I hate it when any President comes to Memphis. Traffic is a cluster"F", all the streets and overpasses closed off and SS men running everywhere. Major PITA.
How many of you have ever had a President come to your town or city?

Really screws up the airport traffic when Air Force 1 comes too. Basically no other planes are allowed to takeoff, land or even taxi any time AF1 is on approach or taxiing on the airport. The airlines try to plan around it and it's not too bad if everything goes as schedluled, but if the President takes a little side trip in his motorcade or runs long on his speech and shows up late to the airport, then you wind up with 50 airliners holding 30 miles away from the airport until AF1 has departed the area.

If you work at the airport it is a real cluster. The last time Bush came to town he made a diversion and my normal 12 minute commute took 1.5 hours.

May 20...I will be coming back into town from Florida. Maybe I should take my time and get home in the late evening, so all the Obamamania can subside by the time I pass through Memphis.
