Folks out there dragging catfish by the bucket it seems. Stringers of 6 or more fish as long as your arm. Blech.

I watched a group of people eagerly catfish around a bloated, half submerged cow carcass a couple of years back.
We were doing a stream bank assessment and it was all I could do to not dry heave while I was there. Heck, those people had chairs set up, bout to start a campfire.

reminds me of floating the Piney River near Centerville and coming off at the Nunnelly Bridge takeout - ran up on a bunch of drunk varmints on the bank cooking hot dogs over a burning tire.
