Talking to my mother-in-law yesterday and she told me a pretty neat story.

I wrote a small "article" and submitted it to the editor of the Dickson Hearald, I believe that is the name of the paper.
Basically it was just telling the story of my son's turkey he killed on the opening morning of the juvenile season.

I went on in the story to talk about how nice everyone in the area was and how eager they were to listen to my son's story and how beautiful the entire area is up that way.

My mother-in-law went to get her hair did and the woman there gave her a clipping and told her this story.

This woman, who I don't know her name, has a sister that lives in or around Dickson and she saw the article and when she saw that the writer was from South Fulton she cut it out and mailed it to her sister, who lives in South Fulton.

The sister read it and said that it was a wonderful article and told her husband that he should read it.
She went on to say that the writer was very talented and she enjoyed reading it.
After reading it he said, well he should be good at writing because he has written a book and he lives right down the street. $\:D$

She then carried the article to the hair dresser so that she could give it to my mother-in-law.

They live literally 3 houses down from me on my street. $\:D$
I just thought that was awful nice of her to make such nice comments and it is indeed a small small world.

Anyway there ya go.

I meant to post about this last night. I know the editor of the paper and he asked me yesterday if I knew you I told him sure do. Then he asked if I seen your article in the paper a couple of weeks ago and I told him I did. He went on to say they have had a lot of compliments about and he hoped you would submit some more.
Good job and tell man that was a fine bird. I haven't checked this week but so far that was the best bird taken in dickson co.
