Jeff's funeral was this afternoon. Place was packed, including the church nursery watching by video feed. I had asked Jeff's wife if it would be alright if I wore the TNDeer shirt Jeff had bought me a few years back. She thought that would be fitting. Turned out one of the other pall bearers had a camo shirt on with his suit. As was said at the visitation, "just not enough camo in that place."

Beautiful memorial service. Lots of love in the house. A funeral line of cars a mile long! Our buddy "Rolling Thunder" on TNDeer and close friend of Jeff's, was sad at the graveside service. Seems they released a flock of white doves, and not a shotgun was to be found.

Glad to know our buddy NBForrest#3 is hearing the ultimate compliment from the Creator Himself: "Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter in!!"

Catch ya later, buddy; but we'll miss you something fierce.

Beautiful Casket held by Great friends and family. A path we will all take. Wish we could have been there. I am assured by Jesus that we will all be together again in the place he has built for believers in him.
What will seem like an eternity for us will be only a the blink of an eye for Forest. Remember we will be together again.
So long Mr. Forest. You are loved by many!

\:\) So happy I was able to be there yesterday. I hugged my Momma and Dad extra hard today as I told them the story of Jeff and all he went through. Rest in Peace my friend.

Guess I also need to mention that during the eulogy, several of the comments from the Prayers for Forrest thread were shared aloud by Jeff's Brother-In-Law, who also happens to be the mayor of the city. Kind of amusing having some of our user names and terminology read aloud in such a proper setting, but appropriate, nonetheless!
