And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
I may have forgotten a comma or two but I believe that is about what my Bible says in Genesis 26. At least that is the general tone of it.
And I agree. That is what happened. And the FACTS show that God then looked down and said, that dude's forehead is way too long and his head is shaped wrong. I hope he can EVOLVE over the next few hundred thousand years so he can at least get his head into an Alabama football helmet. And his feet are way too big and broad. He’ll never get hunting boots on so I hope that too EVOLVES . He can ADAPT to drive on the wrong side of the road when in England but I hope his nose EVOLVES into something not quite so broad and flat because he doesn’t need to smell a goat fart at 300 yards anymore. Might take three or four hundred thousand years, though.
And as things went along, some of his children left what we now call Africa, (Ethiopia) and began to travel. Some went to regions that were cold and they spent a lot of time in houses they ADADPTED to and their skin began to EVOLVE into a lighter color and their eyes changed color because they didn’t stare into the sun every day. These folks ADAPTED to using tools and EVOLVED into basketball players because they were much taller. That took quite a while, though and was way before they had a shoe deal.
God also was pretty big on EVOLUTION. See, he said like, “Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.” See, all of us who are not afraid to use the word EVOLUTI0N, agree with that, too. That is just the way it happened. Of course, it took a real long time for the winged serpents like Pterydactyls (sp) to EVOLVE to the point they had feathers. First, they had to ADAPT to this flying thing. That was anew twist, since they started out as serpents.
EVOLUTION…ADAPTATION…CREATION!!!! There, I said them all, are not contradictory. They all exist and have from day four. The very instant God put living creatures on the firmament, EVOLUTION AND ADAPTION began. And they are still alive and active today. I can find nothing to say otherwise in the Bible or the Torah. I will admit, my Bible is pretty old and worn and it may not have been adapted to fit every notion that has evolved with the advent of something we call religion. That takes some adaption.

BW that's exactly the way I see it.
Too many fossils and dinosaur bones, not to mention Neanderthals, etc.
God created man and everything else, and allows us to evolve, adapt, learn and discover at a pace that suits our situation.

Then you need to learn to read. There is not one racist comment, either intended or unintended. If you saw some, then you are the racist. It might do you well to remember, your ancestors were black and lived in what we now call Ethiopia. Of course, that was more 100,000 years ago than I can keep track of.

If you were a sports fan, I shouldn't have to. Basketball players, the top ones, get paid great sums to endorse a shoe brand. The "shoe deal" is often close to the amount of their contract. Kids are watched close even when they are playing AAU ball in their early teens.
They, the humans in some areas, got taller through evolution. I suspect it had to do with not living in cramped quarters and having to walk or stand hunched over. As a result, the evolved into taller humans. Tall humans play basketball.
Just an attempt to inject a little humor.

I always thought that humans grew taller back in the day so they could grab the lowest limb in the forrest easier when they were trying to get away from a chasing tiger

Sarge, that's not quite what he is saying. A clue would be the hundred thousand years.

I suspect the clue is, you don't have a clue what I was saying. Sarge is dead on, that is excatly what I was saying.

Except that is not what you said. I read what you write, don't have the time or desire to try and decide if you mean something else.
For you to be in line with Sarge, then most of what you wrote would have been lies.
Can't have it both ways. Don't write in riddles, say what you feel and be done with it.
I have a far better clue than you think I do.
