This is getting insane. The harbor has risen enough to close the north entrance/exit to Mud Island, so now all traffic is being diverted to the main Auction Street bridge. Apparently, in preparation for water to come higher from the river side of the island, they are sandbagging the 4-lane road down to 2 lanes to keep from having to close the island altogether. Life is about to get interesting.

Wife called to tell me that hwy 51 is closed near N Watkins. She's detouring to the East trying to get up Raleigh-Millington Rd. She's got to go back into Memphis tonight to work the 11-7 shift at St Jude.
