Tiny, if that is so, then how is it you are able to understand our form of language? Since all human beings eminated from what we now call Africa, how is it some of us have lighter skin?
And the answer is....because of evolution.
I do not believe man evolved from apes. But of course their is evolution. If their wasn't, birds couldn't fly.

BW, one day you'll get the answer. Then you may have to admit you were wrong about a lot of things.

I agree 100%. God allowed us and all things to evolve. You are totally correct. I'm glad we can agree. God created man and man evolved into what he is today. I am sure he is still evolving. It would be interesting, provided earth still exists 100,000 years from now, to see what man evolves into.

Bowriter, Bible thumpers lose it at the word "evolution". I believe God created everything just as Genesis says. I don't believe in the Big Bang, men evolving from apes or any of that crap. But animals are constantly "evolving". There is too much concrete evidence out there to dispute that. But when you say "evolution" they freak out and go into defense mode thinking you are discounting Genesis.

BW and Swamp, you two believe what you may and think about us what you may.
There will be a day of enlightenment.
At that time I guess your two brains will "evolve".

guys imo its a matter of adaptation more than evolution. I DO NOT believe we came from monkeys however i do believe if the world started progressively getting colder and colder we would ADAPT by growing more hair and such as that it all about how you word it

we are certainly evolving daily, look at kids now
micky-dees and Halo3 have turned them into Jabba the Hut clones
I know of a neighbor's kid that has never eaten a green bean (or any green vegetable) in his 12 years on this earth

If you think species aren't constantly evolving your brain needs to evolve. Everything I said is true. Most Christians freak out at the word evolution. The fact that species are constantly evolving doesn't discount Genesis or the Bible in my mind. I still believe in the Bible and God as Creator. Maybe Rockhound is right with his wording. If we say adapt instead of evolve no one will shut their brain off and go into defense mode.

Your exactly right SH species are changing daily. for example If everything in the US was to shut down today no food no gas or any of the modern day conviencies. How long do you guys think it would take these bunny huggin hippies to turn into farmers and hunters? some would some wouldnt a very high percentage of the population i say would die out leaving it to the ones who know how to survive in those means. What does this leave? any children born into that lifestyle would have to do the same thing adapting or evolving the US lifestyle back to 1900. If this makes any sense to people.
What i am saying is when something critical to your way of life changes everything has to change with it. Call it adaptation or evolution however you like its happening whether you like it or not.

Most Christians freak out at the word evolution.
Most Christians have no problem reconiling evolution with their faith. Most Christians do not interpret the Bible literally.
Fundamentalists do not constitute most Christians.

If the Bible is the inspired Word of God why would you need to use common sense to determine what is true and what is a lie? I think, since He could have it any way He wanted it, He would just put all truths in it.

I don't know, that's a question for the after church Sunday catfish buffet people that say Jesus actually didn't drink wine.

I have evolved. I no longer require sex three times a day. Once every couple years is plenty. Also, I use to pee off my tree stand. Now I pee on it. I have evolved and adapted. I have adapted to the point I wear rubber boots. Now I pee on them. One day, I just said to myself, "piss on 'em."
Funny thing is, I have evolved to the point I feel that way about some people. I don't knock people for what they believe or don't believe. Since I am supposedly Jewish, It doesn't much matter to me what the Bible says. I am supposed to read some crazy thing called a Torah and read it right to left.
Course, since I am not Jewish, either, I just go by facts and use some common sense. Works quite well for both me and my Higher Power. Y'all just do what works for you.
I got to go now and face east and hum some stuff.
Oh, Jesus may not have drunk wine. Lotta debate on that. What puzzle me is, who the heck cares and why?

Of course there is evolution.
The general forum has turned into a religous debate / prayer request forum over the last 3 years and we all know how the classifieds evolved.

More people than Jonah have been swallowed by wales. Just look at the British royalty. They even have a Prince of Tides working there.
As for parting the Red Sea, that was a tsunami following the earthquake that destroyed the land bridge that allowed folks to travel from Asia to Alaska.
Now as for raising the dead, very well could be. Seems to me, some of them post on here.
Now that a joke son, I say a joke.
