Jeff seems to be the same, still hanging in there, still having trouble responding in any way except the occasional hand squeeze. I did tell his family and church friends who were visiting about his Vous thievery, cleaning out a pickup truck of meat and charcoal. As I went on to explain that Forrest and I were like different sides of the same coin, that I was friendly, talented, honest, attractive...
I can't swear it was in response, but a loud grunt came from the man in the bed. Didn't sound like a tone of agreement.
TennesseeRains came on by, and we prayed over/with Jeff before we left.

Thanks for the update, Keith. I continue to pray for Jeff and his family and friends.
I was driving the other day and my thoughts went to Jeff. I realized that he is the reason that I, a yankee, have a new interest and better appreciation of the confederate side of the Civil War. Kind of a silly thought to pop into my mind I guess.

Thanks Keith, I wish I could get down there though I don't know him that well. It takes a real man to repeatedly be there for a family & friend in such a predicament.
I may have seen it a while back, but what kind of cancer does he have?
