Any auto mechanics in Nashville? A/C issue!

A/C clutch is short cycling in a 97 ford ranger. Added coolant but still no cold air? Can anyone help a brother out? Can't afford a mechanic bill right now. Thanks J

Thanks J Big J it could be lots of things, stopped up dryer ect. Could be as simple as a pressure cycling switch. If you have a set of gauges you need to check the head pressure. Sounds like a stopped up filter dryer but I would have to hook it up to be sure. I wish we were closer I would be glad to look at it for you.

Definitely need to check the pressures with a set of gauges.
