I'm now offically stranded.
They closed Hy 60 just inside Ledbetter about one mile from the bridge, water is over the highway there. I drove down to in a few minutes ago and had to turn around.
We are fine here and are on high ground so as long as we have power Mom can watch TV and I can cook.
Smithland is also closed and the Smithland levee could break at any minute, they do not except it to hold at all. Less that 3 more INCHES and the water goes over the sandbags on top of the levee, just 3 inches.
This is well on it's way to beat the 1937 flood.
