HOWEVER...
Sunday night, when told that Osama had been taken out, he raised a thumb up! Granted, there could be speculation as to which influential leader's name he actually heard, but it was great to hear he was listening and understanding.
Man that just made me tear up. In a good way.
I've known Jeff since we were both Freshmen in High School, and that definitely sounds like him. 
Sometimes praying for a miracle doesn't result in the kind of finish WE think is appropriate. Sometimes the miracle is much more subtle, perhaps as subtle as one more day, and the clarity to hear and understand the family gathered close by.
I have been a Nurse for nearly 26 years, several of those working for Hospice, and couldn't agree more.
Keith, you are once again the man.

Thank YOU for the update for reading to Jeff... all I can do is cry.
I must say that I had a tear in my eye while reading this myself. I will continue to pray that gods will be done.

Prayers still coming. My wife thinks all I do is goof off on tndeer and that's somewhat true but I told her this story about Jeff and his daughter and I think she almost cried.

Thanks for the update and a little of the personal stuff.
I continue to pray for God's Healing touch. If it is God's will to take him on, then I want God's will most of all. However, until I am sure of that, my prayer continues, "Lord, if you see fit, please touch my Brother NBF with your healing touch, restore the strength of this youth Lord."
