Same here in Atoka, TN. My wife is from New Orleans where she experienced few serious "tornado warnings" over the years that she can recall. She told me just this weekend that she has just about had her "share" of sirens, straight line winds and tornado warnings for a while. For some reason, our house has been right in line with three pretty significant storm cells this spring. They all have tracked NE straight toward us out of Shelby county. I am ready for some stable weather conditions, sooner, rather than later.

They got lucky in Memphis, that was a pretty good looking storm...way too close to 100K people.

At least you got one. The 6 that died here Wednesday night didn't have one to hear, but I do believe everyone had opportunity to seek shelter because weather personel made it clear that dangerous storms would be occuring.

Thats sad, every community should have one we don't have any here. either. We do have some great weather personnel who keep us updated and warned.
