Jeff's wife wanted me to be sure to update the TNDeer community as to Jeff's condition, and to be sure you all know just how much you as a group meant to him. Many of you have been on the receiving end of Jeff's graciousness as well as his mischief, but all of it came from the pleasure he got from knowing you all, whether in person or on-screen only. Speaking from my own experience as a minister, sometimes it's good to have a group of people treat you like you're just people.

I asked her about the possibility of a project or charity or cause for which we might collect; sometimes we rednecks show our feelings better by donation than by conversation $;\)$ She had three ideas:

1) Jeff's daughter (Courtney, I believe) just lost her home to the tornado. The house had insurance, but her furnishings were not covered. To step in and help Jeff's personal family like that might be a great way to take care of "his" needs.

2) A general donation to the church he preaches for, West Cleveland Baptist, and I imagine they will be doing something specifically with him in mind.

3) St. Judes has been a popular TNDeer cause, and Jeff worked hard to help out during the Vous, and would surely enjoy knowing it was helped even more in his name.

Only report I have today is that Jeff is still holding his own. Gratitude from the family for the prayer support.

For my $$$, I would like to directly help his daughter. I have $100 to start off the cause, if other TNDeer members give this the thumbs up.

As for my prayers, I am still asking my heavenly Father for a healing miracle, as long as there is breath, God can work wonders. To God be the glory, in all things, be it life or be it death.

Those are all great ideas. Is there any way to get a list of what his daughter needs or wants?
