My dad got this turkey this morning. I seen the turkeys about 150 yards up the creek bank. So dad got in the creek and walked up to within 45 yards of the turkeys. They couldn't hear him because of the rushing water. He balsted this one at 45 yards. I was calling a little to try to keep their attention at me and not him! Worked out perfectly. Great day with my dad who is visiting from Michigan. This was his first TN Bird! Since he snuck up the creek we took his picture in the creek...I thought it was a pretty cool pic. It was a jake but we didnt care and we ate him tonight!
