Are you impressed?Im not.He was born,thats it.Didnt save them from invading hoards,take the country back from the Germans,take the Crown from an evil King.Didnt go out and win an election.Just born to the right family.I dont get it,all the money they spend on the "royals".Glad I dont have to support it.
If my wife and kids didnt have on the tube all the time on NBC in the morning,I doubt I would even know.

I really don't understand why so many people in this country seem to care about the "royal wedding". 
because some people THINK they need to worry about everyone else. It pisses me off that people get into everyone buisness. people need to worry about what goes on in there own lives and stop worring about everyone else

I have seen very little of the coverage and no one I know talks about it except on tndeer. Go figure. But I love weddings so it doesn't tick me off. Besides, how often does a girl start the day as a commoner and end the day as a full-fledged princess?

Discussions about the merits of the British Monarchy and the hype about the wedding aside, after the fall of France, the British essentially stood alone between the U.S. and the Axis powers for over a year while we hoped and pretended Hitler would just go away. The U.S. entry into WWII turned the tide and assured the eventual outcome, but to overlook the importance of the RAF and the Battle of Britain is to ignore history.
