I haven't been squirrel hunting in years but I'm thinking about picking it back up. I'm thinking I'll get a bolt action, magazine fed .22 with an undetermined scope. What do you use?

I shoot mine with a shotgun. I use #5's or #6's. I usually carry my twenty guage pump.

I use a Ruger 77, 22lr with a Simmons 3X9........... Now that spring squirrel season is open and we've had a good rain today, I'll probably go on my off days, thur. & friday.....Also been thinking about using my 45 cal CVA with homemade 250 gr. R.E.A.L's with 80 gr. of triple 7 and iron sights some also. I only eat the hind legs and back anyways....Don't use a shotgun much anymore... Love to squirrel hunt....Deer hunt too............BH51

Stainless/laminated ruger 10/22 with a cheap Simmons 22 mag scope! A lot of fun to shoot.
