I usually take a duster and comb over it, then take a Q-tip dipped into vaseline and apply to the nose and bottom of the eyes

A taxidermist friend of mine recommends dusting the cape with a piece of light bread. He says the natural oils in the bread are good for the mount and aren't excessive.
Bread is what I was told to use also and it works great.

I USE A DAMP WASH CLOTH TO REMOVE THE DUST AND A Q TIP OR TP WITH SOME GLASS CLEANER FOR THE EYES I NEVER SPRAY ANY CHEMICALS DIRECTYLY ON THE HAIR
