Whats the best grain to shoot a .243 with. 80 grain or 100?

Just depends on what range you are wanting to shoot and how your gun will group with the different weights. For me though i would try 100gr.

Normally I would start with a partition. Then see what groups best. The type and weight you choose also depends on your range. The accubond seems to have a high BC and retains velocity and ft-pounds well out to 500 yds. Your heavier weight tend to do better in the wind and adverse weather.

My son's rifle shoots the Federal Premium TSX 85 Grain the best.
