Im just wandering how many of you use slugs during rifle season? I havent had time sight in the 30-06 so I plan on using my ole slug gun until I get the remington sighted in. Im just wandering how many people use slugs!

I hunt with mine from time to time. I shoot 3" Remington Accutips. I also like the copper solids and the hornady sst's.

I will be using my h&r 12 gauge in the morning shooting the rem 3" accutip. Going to be taking it to Illinois in two week so need to be sure it shoots good.

I shot a deer last week with the 3" Accutip and was not 100% pleased with performance. I am gonna give them one more try though.

This will be my first season with a slug gun and i am shooting the 3" accu tip.
What happened? why wern't you pleased? The guy that redcommended them to me said that he never had a deer go more than 10 feet, but i have never shot one with them.

How do the copper solids shoot in comparison to the accu tips. can you interchange them or do you have to resight?
