This will be the first gun opener I have missed. My son has a basketball tournament all day. Do these schools not know how important opening day is? LOL! Good luck to all that will be out there. Save some for me! Family first!

Don't feel bad. My wife's B-day is Nov. 19 and I have missed the gun opener for the last 5 years.

Your not alone. The wife has to work, and all my baby sitter options are taken, grandparents are busy. first one missed in 16 years.

My wife is having a shower for a friend and I've got to get the house squared away, also I've got to check a station at work as well. This will be the 1st gun opener I think I've ever missed since I started hunting, I'm 31! But its ok cause I killed a 155in. 8 point with my bow at Fort Campbell last sunday so I'm not to upset about missing it!
