I also use the buddy heater. Light the pilot light and when the chill gets to be to much turn on low and warm up. Works great I even us it in our buddy stand that is fully eclosed.

Take 3 metal coffee cans. Cut bottom out of two of them, and stack the three on top of each other. Tape together with aluminum tape. Then layer of duct tape around whole thing. Place can of sterno in the bottom. Light and get warm!! No smell! cost ya just a few bucks. Lasts about 3 hrs
Good tip But good luck on finding metal coffe cans all I see around are plastic.

OH Ditoo on the Buddy Heater,I do have a similar type Coleman that one of my neighbors gave me it seems to work well to what little I've used it,never used either in a blind though.

I will carry a sterno can with me when I am hunting in the mountains in really cold weather. I don't always pull it out but If I had to have it it could be lifesaver...

I have a 4x8 shooting house and my buddy heater keeps it nice and warm on a pretty cold day.
