I couldn't get a great pic of this because it sits just across the property line and all I could do was hang my phone over the fence to get the pic. A metal ladder connect to the wood ladder and there is a old platform up there that you can't see.

Took me a while to get back down to Alabama to get a photo of this little gem of a poaching honeyhole. Notice the PVC pipe corn feeder in the lower right corner of the picture. There were about a dozen more like it within a 50 yard radius. Whoever engineered this setup certainly put some work into it. Notice the spikes driven into that shagbark hickory for steps. That took some work!
My buddy bought this property a couple years ago from an estate. He decided to leave the stands just like they were for chuckles. The really funny thing is that he now leases out the house on the property to the county game warden.

That looks very familiar. Is this a huge maple among several huge maples near a pond? The secret is safe . No pond close to there. But there is a river close by. 
O no i think i know where that stand is. I think me and Knothead are thinking the same place. When u said river close by i was thinking the same place. Interesting?
