I recently started using Scout Look as my primary. I double check with 3 or 4 others.

It seems like none of them are accurate. I've given up on accuweather I checked to see what it said about the wind when I was in the stand yesterday and it was completely off. I've been using National Weather Service. The most accurate seems to be checking with our local weather guys the day before. Channel 5 in memphis gives a pretty detailed forecast county-by-county on their website

None of the private forecast groups outperform the NWS.
Personally, I just look at the raw model data and make my own forecasts. The GFS models are getting amazingly good at predictions out to 8 or 9 days.

None of the private forecast groups outperform the NWS. I agree..exactly why I use NWS as my first choice and compare their forecast with the others to see if there are similarities/differences etc. In my opinion, one should NEVER trust a weather forecast beyond three days and that may be a stretch at times. I typically trust a weather forecast for 48 hours and then I check back after that to see what the next 48 hour forecast is and so on.
