I went last wednesday. No rut activity. Fawns were still with mommas and no chasin at all. Plannin on going back wednesday to see if it's changed.

I got one Saturday that was chasing a doe and very smelly. You could smell him from about 20 feet away. That was in Haywood county.

Hunted lincoln and giles county the 7th-11th and all kinds of small bucks were chasing and finally saw a monster but couldnt get a shot. the does still dont seem to interested though.

I have hunted Giles twice and not seen any sign. Does are still bunched together. I saw nothing the last time i was there the guys on the property where the deer cross onto the property i have permission tohunt shot twice within 15 minutes.

I hadn't seen anything as of last Sat. But, I talked to a buddy who said that the bucks were wide open at his place on the plateau now. I may have to take off a couple more days this week.
