the way I hunt with a gun is on the ground most times in these hills,,it is starting to hurt my back and I seem to have to readjust my bibs,,thinking about taking my loggy bayou and just strap it to the tree about 2 feet off the ground,,,seems the thing to do,heck it is so steep if you stand up right you cant see under the brush,,and its too steep for a chair,,so if you see somebody in a stand about knee high on a tree,,its me,,

Just carry the top section, should work great. Maybe set somethin down for a footrest, like a rock or piece of firewood.

I done that last year with a loc-on and had a jake walk by me trying, to figure out what that weird new knot on the side of the tree was.

the Bayou is a loc-on with climbing capability,,the top part is the climber,,the bottom part is the whole stand

I use my top part of my summit titan all the time like that..Makes it alot more comfy than sitting on the ground!
