Are you gonna tough it out tomorrow?
Any predictions on how it will affect deer movement?

I hunted this morning in cold, wet, misty fog and saw one dang squirrel. This stand was a goldmine of activity during the archery season. I have no idea what the problem is. That said, I'll probably get up at 0445 and slog out there in the hopes of killin a deer.

I have a spot that's been hot with activity as the rut's been cranking up. If I wait until Saturday to hunt it, there will be several other hunters with permission on the same piece of property. If I go tomorrow with the ol' smokepole, should have it all to myself.
Even if that means I get soaked, in my experience that can still make it worth it! =)
As they say... "You never know if you don't go." =)

Go for it. Just remember to wear your rubbers. (One on the end of the barrel will keep the water from running in)

I hunted all day today it was a great day here seen alot of deer and one nice buck that just didn't give me the oppurtunity. Its calling for thunderstorms and rain in morn sounds like a good day to rest up for the next couple weeks. I am off work till 1st of Dec.
