They are 2 different bullets there are silvertips and the ballistics
The silvertips have a Lubalox coating. That's the only difference.

They are great bullets benn shooting them for years out of the 7mm. Just don't expect to get much meat from the area you hit. It does some damage.

I use 130 gr silvertips in 270 they work great. That's all I use also use same bullet in 7mm too, and my dad uses them in his 280 and 3006 so we are very pleased they shoot more consistant than other factory loads.

I took a juvi hunting two years in a row and he hit both deer way far back in the gut. The silvertips did their job and made for a quick recovery. I have 7 deer down with them and haven't had one go anymore than 30 yards.

Winchester has had a "Silvertip" bullet for years bascially a power point with a metal tip not plastic, they still offer it in the "Super X" line of ammo. This is not a non coated Nosler Ballistic Tip which is what they use along with the Accubond with coating in there "Surpreme" line of ammo.
I used to use those exclusivly in my 06' back in the day and they quit making em for a while or something...I loved those things in the 150...they got scarce and I went to the hornady 165 btsp interbonds and haven't looked back.

That's all I shoot in my .270 and my .308. Best bullet for deer made.
