I was working on something in the basement Saturday evening,,I put my 2 Cell Maglite down,,standing up light down on the concrete floor,,

when I picked it up this morning it was still on,,

anybody that has on old maglite get the led bulb,,it is BRIGHT and will pay for itself in batteries QUICK....

I have had one for several years now. Never have changed the batteries.

Haven't had to change the bulb either. Seems like those old mini maglites would always need the bulb replaced when you where a mile back in the woods and it was pitch black. It was hard to dig that new bulb fom the end and get it back in in the dark. Happened to me several times.

Where do you get a led bulb for the reg maglite at?

I converted my little mag light. I don't really like how you can't focus the light after you do it.

I converted mine also, same opinion as TheAirMan but it's great for walking a trail, just nothing past 8 feet or so.

It sure saves on batteries as stated above.

i have a streamlight stinger. it is recharable adn i have the car charger(i use it on duty as well) great flashlight. pricey @ $120 for light and 2 chargers but never have a dead light again. i have also used it as an emergency spotlight on the boat at nite too. yup it is that bright!

x2 Use mine at work then bring it home on the off days for hunting and round the house. Love mine and you can light some stuff up with it to. Its super bright!!
