Had 3 wlak right to me about 630am... bout 60yds away. I kept waiting for a buck b/c they kept looking behind them. After I didn't see a buck n they were bout to jet, I stopped the lead and shot. Only saw 2 run on up the mtn so I figure I dropped her. Waited a bit then went to look. Of course it starts to rain but I could not find any sign of a hit! I looked all over for an hour. I pray ididnt hit her even tho I know my scopes dead on. I hate not finding 1. I've read lots of others on here saying they're not finding blood or their deer too! These muzzy bullets don't always cause external blood for some reason. The other 2 doe I've shot w a muzzy was the same and I had a diff bullet then! What should I do, shoot for the neck/head? How can I better my chances to recover future deer.... I plan to hunt the same stand later this week...will the memory of my shot or a {hopefully not} dead deer in the area ruin that stand for a while?

It happens esp if you don't get an exit and even if you do it may take a while for it to flow good.
I shot a doe a few back in GA with a 06 and 150 gr AB blew a golf ball size exit hole BUT no blood trail at all of the 50 yard she went. That one was an odd ball,The hide on the off side expaneded out with the exiting bullet, bullet hole in the hide was 4" further forward form that of the body, sealed off the hole.
