It'll happen. Went all last year without killing a deer and didn't see many. That hasn't happened in a long time. It seemed that if it could go wrong, it would. I think I got to the point where I let pressure build and made mistakes. But this year is just the opposite.
In thinking it over after the season, I decided that it might have been that I stuck with patterns I'd learned in previous years, when I should have changed my routine and tried something different.

Know the feeling. Used to be able to go and see alot of deer and got some good ones on the wall but seems like the last couple years just cant get any luck. Everyone says it will happen someday and i guess thats why I keep going back. Love to hunt so if I don't kill another good one oh well thats hunting.
