Tickling the tines seems to be working somewhat. At what point should I go at it harder with the antlers?

A.K.A go to hard rattling when you hear deer doing it. As long as the tine tickling is working, stay with it. Some years I never hard rattle because the bucks don't fight every year. It depends on competition and confrontation. Doesn't happen every year.
