He was at sixty yards when shot.. he through rear up an walked zigzags after shot. I waited to let em die an jumped em seventy from where shot him. ONe spec of alone.. where do you think I hit em. Shooting tc super glides 300 gr an two 777 pellets

If you only found 1 spot of blood I'd mark it, look where you saw the deer get up, and see how much he bled there then
I'd back off, for a good while especially if you don't know where you hit him. Go get some breakfast, round up a friend or two to help, think it all over then go back.

45 min strut.. an I just picked pretty good trail up further down. By the way, theres nothin where he was bedded

I thougt I was going to lose one last night. Saw him go into a cedar thicket but could not find any blood. Walked back to where he was shot. Could not find any blood. By now it was getting pretty dark. Walked back to thicket one more time thinking I either missed him or was going to lose him. Heard a grunt and could make out that he was walking deeper in but he was definately hit. Waited about 30 seconds and heard him crash. gave him about 5 minutes and walked up to him where he laid dead. Only found one little spot of blood entire time. When I field dressed him his entire insides were obliderated. However there was no blood around the entrance wound and I never found an exit. Thought I remembered reading somewhere these new muzzleloader bullets do a lot of internal damage without leaving a good blood trail. Keep looking you'll find him.

The big nanner head I shot yesterday took off just like I missed her. I heard her crash hard so I knew she was down. I shot the second one and waited 30 minutes. The small doe was DRT so I went to look for the biggun. I found where she spun out and there was no blood. I walked into the thick stuff where I saw her run. Nothing. I go back to retrace my steps and find a single spot of blood on a leaf. The blood trail was horrible but I got a good line on the way she went. Found her crashed at the bottom of the ridge. Bllod everywhere there. The entrance was in the left shoulder. Exit beside right shoulder was huge. Only thing I can figure is she was running so fast and downhill, she didn't have time to bleed.

It's been eatin' me alive ever since I called it quits on him. I searched high and low through thick and then... 
Man that's a bummer! I've lost a few with ML in the past and felt like I made good shots. For me there is never much blood and I can't see where they run due to the smoke! Just wasn't meant to be...never know maybe he'll make it and you can try him again!

That's the prob. is I'm 'bout hundred percent it was a good shot the way he acted and how close he bedded from where I shot him. I just don't understand the no blood or him not fading out sooner.. I know he's down somewhere now. Just got that feelin'
