I for one have horrible luck with joe layne, I switched to Kevin Phillips in clarkrange. Does great work.

The only deer I have mounted was done by Adam's in Claxton. The mount is 10 years old, and looks just as good today as the day I got it.

Okay, Depending on where you are coming from, This is quite possibly the best taxidermist I know of! He as been doing it forever! He does the job right and they look awesome. Byrd's Taxidermy in Huntsville, well its closer to Campbell County than it is Oneida, but he does work for all kinds of people from surrounding counties. He actually does alot of work from Knoxville also. I promise you will not be disappointed!

bobby summitt in lenoir city does great work. he is one of those that is anal about his quality and will let nothing out of his shop until it's perfect.

Rick hill in leniore city does good work he's a little pricy but u get what u pay for. Adams is also very good and so is the summer sausage u can or could get too!

Thanks for the suggestions. I've made a few calls and asked some of my buddies who's mounts I've seen where they were done. The cape and antlers have been delivered. I've got faith it's in good hands.
